I am a New York licensed pediatric occupational therapist with over 25 years of experience working with children with sensory processing, attention, motor, perceptual and learning challenges in homes, schools and clinics. My approach is to understand the unique abilities of each child and meet them where they are. I support neuro-affirming practices that respect every child’s unique behavior and response. I use evidence-based, neuro-affirming practices that prioritize connection, regulation, and development at a pace that feels safe and supportive. I build on strengths. Whether we’re working on sensory integration, motor skills, helping with everyday routines, or self-regulation, my goal is to empower children to feel confident in their bodies and environments and participate meaningfully in day-to-day activities.

Could Your Child Benefit from Occupational Therapy?
Every child grows at their own pace and there are times a child may struggle in different areas more than other same aged children such as:
- Sitting still or focusing is a challenge
- Clumsiness or frequent bumping into things
- Picking up objects such as puzzle pieces, forks, crayons is awkward or uncoordinated
- Drawing or handwriting is unclear
- Balancing, jumping, throwing, or catching is not as expected
- Over or under reactions (doesn’t notice) certain sensations such as sounds, textures, movements, tastes, and/or smells or when to use the toilet or recognizes when hungry or full
- Not aware of danger
- Has a hard time making friends or joining group play
- Delays in self-care skills (dressing, eating)
- Poor posture, low muscle tone, or tires easily
- Trouble falling asleep or staying asleep
- Play is limited to the same play over and over or your child jumps from one activity to activity
- Has a hard time transitioning from one activity to another or leaving the house or other places/people
- Seems to get easily upset or doesn't notice things that others do
